A Collaborative Approach For You and Your FAMILY.

Who We Are.

Sybil Stoltz

Physiotherapist

Founder and sole practitioner, Sybil Stoltz graduated from University of Queensland in 2010. From there she worked in Disability Services with children from 0 to 6 with complex disabilities, then she worked for Deaf Services for 5 years building experience working with children with hearing loss. Sybil believes in the collaborative approach, and encourages families to share information between therapy providers in order to achieve your goals.

How We Work.

Our first sessions is a ‘get to know you’ session, learning about your child, your family, your goals and ensuring the therapist-child relationship is a good fit. It is important our skills set matches your child’s goals too.

We are a mobile practise, so we will come to you in home, school, day-care, kindy, or even a park (think wheelchair or trike trials!).

Not all children need the same things, so therapy should be as flexible and individual as each child. Not every child fits into the fortnightly 45-minute session category. Depending on scheduling, I believe in being open to other options, including weekly, fortnightly, biweekly or block intensive sessions. Breaks in therapy to consolidate skills are important too! Please call to see if we can fit in with your needs.

Description
Initial Consult
$190/hour (45mins face to face plus 15mins admin)
Our initial consult is to get to know you, your child and your goals in a low pressure, fun, play based environment. Some children can take some time to warm up to a new person, so it is important to work with someone who can be flexible. An initial session will have informal and where possible, formal assessments to gain a baseline of your child’s skills and discuss with you what you would most like to achieve from our sessions. Generally most children tire after 60 minutes of engagement, so we tend to stick to a 45-60 minute face to face session.
Regular Sessions
$190/hour (45mins face to face plus 15mins admin)
Ongoing sessions are a combination of direct therapy, advice and education and support to building an ongoing home exercise program. Most families prefer a 45-15 minute therapy session, however, being a sole practitioner, we can be flexible and can cater to your child’s specific needs.
